Seeking Solidarity: Asian-Americans and Affirmative Action in SFFA v. Harvard

The Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard lawsuit claims that Harvard discriminates against Asian-American applicants and argues for the end of race-based affirmative action as a solution. The lawsuit has been painful and divisive within and outside of the API community. Hear from experts about the stakes and prospects of the lawsuit, the future of affirmative action, and the role of Asian-Americans in advocating for racial justice.

APALSA Elections and General Body Meeting

APALSA is holding our first general body meeting and elections to choose our two new 1L Representatives for the Executive Board on Thursday, September 14 at 6:00-7:30PM at a location TBD. Food (poke and pizza) and drinks will be available at the meeting!

We will go over the benefits of joining APALSA, assess dues for those who want to join APALSA, and then conduct elections. Afterwards, we invite members to join us at our social!

If you would like to run for 1L Representative, please submit a 150-250 word blurb describing yourself and why you want to be on the board of APALSA to and be prepared to give a short 1-2 minute speech at the meeting.
